Job Summary
We are looking for a developer for our back office team. The team consists of people in charge of Cale’s backoffice system, WebOffice. All Cales products services and products are connected to WebOffice, and it is used by customers around the world. It is a system with extremely high demands on uptime, performance and stability

The work is done in a Microsoft environment, where you will work with ASP.NET, databases and web services. You can participate in the entire process from planning and analysis, specification requirements, coding, testing and verification, where you have close collaboration and continuous dialogue with your team members as well as product owners. There are great opportunities to influence the future design of the product as we currently work a lot with new functionality.

Primary functions are to design and develop applications using Microsoft .NET 4.0 (4.5)and .net Core (2.1) using C#. The candidate will be responsible for design, development and implementation of new functionality using C# as well as providing support for our products. Technologies that the candidate needs to know that he will use in his day-to-day include SQL Server 2014+, Visual Studio 2017/TFS/Git, WCF, SSAS, SSIS, AJAX/HTML/XML/XSL/LINQ, and NUnit testing.

  • Experience in object-oriented programming in C#.

  • Experience designing and developing T-SQL, stored procedures, data mining and OLAP reports using SSAS, data migration using SSIS and Entity Framework.

  • Excellent knowledge of C #, ASP.NET, HTML5, Web API, MVC is required

  • PHP, MySQL, Javascript, SSIS, SSAS and Linux knowledge/experience is an asset

  • Need to excel in problem solving.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.

  • Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Need to be able to support, document, and update applications.

  • Need to be productive, efficient and able to work on multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Be innovative, curious and constantly seeking to improve its skills.

  • At least 3 years of experience with web development and the ability to design and implement comprehensive solutions based on Microsoft technologies.
