Precise ParkLink is looking for a focused, motivated, self-starting Proposal Writer to join our growing Proposal Development team. The Proposal Writer will be an important part of a continuously improving our document development process.
Reporting to the Proposal Development Director, this individual will be responsible for all functions associated with developing accurate responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs, as well as well as researching, understanding, and developing a working knowledge of the parking technology and management services that are offered by the company.
This individual will be required to work collaboratively with staff within the division and other internal departments in order to develop a clear understanding of what is required by each project and how to effectively apply ideas and strategies to responses to RFPs.

Finding, obtaining, downloading, distributing, and printing all official RFP, RFI, RFQ documents;
Assist in producing responses to RFPs based on proposal requirements and using documents from our internal response template library;
Reviewing RFP requirements to ensure timely response to all pre-submission material (e.g., RSVP to Site Meetings, return Intent to Submit letters);
Ensuring all addenda are downloaded and tracked for each project in a timely manner;
Selecting and modifying appropriate template materials and/or creating new language (reflecting the needs of client-specific proposal requests) in order to produce an accurate and reflective proposal response;
Maintaining, contributing to, and distributing a database of written proposal and marketing-related content material;
Researching, producing, and distributing new written material as needed on a project basis;
Recording and tracking project specific deadlines (i.e. deadlines to submit questions, due dates, etc.);
New record creation and maintenance in accordance with SOPs for all new assignments;
Request and coordinate all required documentation for submissions in a timely manner (i.e. obtain Insurance Certificates, WSIB documentation, Bonding requirements, as required);
Coordinating and executing submission documentation, as required by the RFP document;
Timely printing and delivery of all documentation, when required;
Preliminary documentation production for inclusion in our response template library;
Tracking, updating, and distributing a database project milestone dates and submission deadlines;
Appropriately file and maintain lists of all projects, both in-progress and closed;
Other administrative functions as needed on a daily basis.
Completed post-secondary education in a writing intensive field (i.e. English, Journalism, Communications);
2+ years relevant professional experience;
Strong written communication skills in English and ability to understand technical information;
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro;
Proficiency with CRM highly desirable;
Ability to focus and work independently;
Ability to work within strict deadlines;
Self-motivating with attention to detail and a genuine desire to learn;
Valid driver’s license.
