Service Technician

Job Summary:

The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and provides installation and maintenance of our Solar & AC powered parking equipment, as well as our gated parking facilities throughout the lower mainland.

Location: Vancouver

Employment: Full-time

Compensation: Hourly

 

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of parking equipment

  • Attend to on-site service calls

  • Signage installation

  • Accurately complete company work orders

  • Comply with safety practices (i.e. wearing safety equipment: shoes, glasses, etc...)

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse

  • Other duties as assigned

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • One year relevant experience in technical or electronic service

  • High school diploma

  • Previous experience working with power and small hand tools, concrete cut saws, grinders, etc.

  • Minor welding experience an asset; training will be provided

  • General knowledge of computers & electronics

  • Knowledge of the lower mainland

  • Valid BC Driver’s licence with a clean drivers abstract

  • Ability to multitask effectively and stay positive and professional under high-pressure fast-paced environments

  • Works well with minimal supervision and as part of a team

  • Must be punctual and self-disciplined
