When it comes to promoting your parking lot online, there are many common mistakes one can make. Nowadays, 92% of people are searching for parking online through Google or mobile GPS apps like Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps.

We asked Precise ParkLink’s Marketing and Communications Coordinator, Alex Borin, what is the number one mistake parking operators make when promoting their parking lot online.

Q. What is a parking operator's number one mistake when promoting a parking lot online?

A. Typically, the entrance to the parking lot is located on a different street from the main building. The number one mistake parking operators make when promoting their parking lot Is not creating a map listing for the parking lot itself or registering the main building address as their parking lot address. Having a map listing for your parking lot ensures that customers know how to get to the parking facility, and they don’t end up going to a neighbouring lot while trying to look for yours.
