Yes, every Hypercharge EV charging station is Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) compliant.

+ What is the difference between AC and DC charging?

AC charging relies on an "onboard charger" inside the vehicle to convert AC to DC to charge the battery. DC fast stations convert AC power to DC within the station, delivering DC power directly to batteries and enabling a much quicker charge.

+ Are Hypercharge ports universal?

Hypercharge charging station ports are universal and can plug into most electric vehicles.

+ How do I pay for charging in the Parkedin app?

Scan the QR code located on the Hypercharge EV charging station. Enter your credit card information and email address for pre-authorization. Then, you will be prompted to begin your charging session. After completing your session, the amount owed will be displayed, and your credit card will be automatically charged. You will receive an email receipt as confirmation.

Please note this functionality is only available at select parking lots where Hypercharge EV charging stations are installed.

+ Do I need a level 2 or level 3 EV charging station?

The main difference between level 2 and level 3 EV charging stations is the speed at which they charge vehicles. Level 2 EV chargers are commonly seen at workplaces, shopping centres and commercial parking lots. In comparison, Level 3 EV chargers are widely seen along highways, at gas stations, convenience stores, and short-term parking lots allowing drivers to top off their vehicle battery quickly.

Precise Parklink offers end-to-end EV charging solutions. Not only do we sell the products, but we will also design the electrical infrastructure taking into consideration the existing infrastructure in place. As a certified electrical contractor, we will also install the stations and provide ongoing maintenance and technical support for them.

We will also provide you with regular station summary performance reporting and handle software configurations you may require down the line.
