The National Parking Associations 40 Under 40 Class of 2021, Maria oversees a talented team marketers and graphic designers who are dedicated to applying innovative marketing techniques to improve our clients’ profitability. Under Maria’s leadership since 2018, the marketing team has grown significantly as their successes have only increased demand for their services.

She joined Precise ParkLink as a summer student and continued working for us on weekends through high school and into university. Working in a variety of functional areas — among them, customer service and invoice disputes, business development, and operations to assist with site launches — has given Maria a unique perspective on the parking industry and insights on how to market parking facilities successfully. Her broad experience, combined with her formal education, makes her the ideal person to understand clients’ specific needs and tailor a marketing strategy to suit them.

Maria started her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Communications at the University of Waterloo and completed it at the University of Toronto. Since graduating, she has continued to develop herself professionally, gaining certification from the University of Toronto in project management, digital marketing management, and advanced marketing.

Among her many accomplishments during her tenure with Precise ParkLink, she spearheaded our digital marketing strategy, a program that has helped several prominent clients see substantial gains in their revenue. Currently, she is leading our Urban Mobility campaign, leveraging her extensive digital marketing experience and intuitive understanding of technology trends within the parking industry

Clearly not one to shy away from hard work, Maria is self-motivated, and as a skillful leader, she’s able to motivate her team with her own positive and enthusiastic attitude. And as an innovator, entrepreneur, and someone who appreciates creative, outside-the-box thinking, she firmly believes “there’s a solution to every problem.”

The only time Maria ever really lets herself sit still is on a beach with a book. Otherwise, she’s out with friends, enjoying Toronto’s restaurants and nightlife.
