Luigi Lato
Chief Operating Officer
Luigi provides executive support for our clients during the implementation phase and throughout the life of the contract, acting as our clients’ project champion within Precise ParkLink. As Chief Operating Officer, he has the executive authority to get the job done.
He has a degree in telecommunications technology from Ryerson University as well as further accreditations from York University in project management and executive leadership. Before joining Precise ParkLink in 2000, Luigi worked at the Toronto East General Hospital, now the Michael Garron Hospital, rising to the role of Director of Information Technology. Today, he leverages his expertise and experience to make Precise ParkLink a technology-first company that has grown to be a leader in the Canadian parking market.
Luigi has a great deal of practical experience working with the technology we offer our clients and that forms the basis of our proposed solutions. Since day one, he’s been exceeding every expectation of a corporate executive and demonstrating his commitment to go above and beyond in service of his clients. When he first joined Precise ParkLink, he didn’t hesitate to leverage his mechanical aptitude when needed, assisting crews in the field when intricate technical issues required advanced troubleshooting. This demonstrated early on a humble character and a commitment to a hands-on leadership style, attributes that continue to serve him well as a leader to this day.
This leadership style was recognized most recently at the 2024 Canadian Parking Association Conference and Tradeshow held in Halifax, where Luigi received the Ted Seeberg Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Canadian Parking Industry, an achievement he was quick to share with everyone at Precise ParkLink who contributes to our success within the industry as well as to the success of our clients’ parking operations.
As the company and his role in it have continued to evolve, Luigi’s responsibilities today include guiding our investments in research and development to create innovative solutions for our clients, managing client relationships at the highest level, and leveraging his analytical and numbers-oriented problem-solving skills to support our partner organizations in their endeavours.
With other thirty years as a parking industry professional gaining valuable leadership and team-building experience, Luigi has built a career on providing exceptional leadership to his staff as well as delivering the greatest value to his clients.
