An accessible environment is one that can be accessed by all. Within the parking and mobility industry, this is something that many operators strive to accomplish. As a leader in this space, Precise ParkLink is dedicated to creating accessible parking solutions that meet the needs of organizations and their visitors. Accessibility is at the forefront of what we do, ensuring that Canadian accessibility standards are always met and exceeded.

The evolution of our parking technology and management solutions showcases this dedication, with product offerings that enhance the customer journey and expand our clients' reach. In light of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), we're sharing how we are doing our part to be accessible.

Accessible Pay Stations

As an exclusive technology partner for Skidata in Canada, Precise ParkLink offers skiosk pay stations-- a line of interactive and multifunctional digital kiosks that combine ease-of-use and intelligent technology into a new class of accessible devices. The line includes three multifunctional devices: skiosk Smart, skiosk Lite and skiosk Slim.

The devices feature accessible touch operation, operating height controls, colour-contrasts and braille, assistive listening systems and interactive self-service tools for optimal accessibility. The pay stations were designed to meet global accessibility requirements. However, Precise ParkLink underwent multiple external audits and modified the technology accordingly to meet Canadian accessibility standards.

Accessible Parking Signage and Wayfinding

Effective communication plays a significant role in how your parking facility meets accessibility requirements. That is why we develop a variety of signage to guide your operation and your visitors in the right direction. Installing clear and visible signage throughout your facility will ensure your organization’s transition is seamless. This includes anything from safety and instructional signage to braille decals that can ensure your facility is accessible for all.

Construction & Facility Maintenance

For a parking facility to be accessible, the physical characteristics of the lot must support simple and intuitive parking, cycling and walking experiences. Although it may not be the first thing that comes to mind when discussing accessibility, construction and maintenance play a significant role in the overall efficiency of your facility.

Precise ParkLink’s construction and maintenance division specializes in parking lot design and logistics, ensuring facilities are engineered (or re-engineered) and maintained at all times.

Touchless Parking Options

Not only are touchless parking solutions convenient and straightforward to use, but they also create an accessible environment. Limiting physical touchpoints improves the overall customer experience. Solutions such as mobile and tap-and-go payment, wave-to-enter and license plate-based access, virtual customer service and hands-free permits create an accessible customer journey from point A to point Z.

Precise ParkLink’s commitment to creating a more accessible future for the parking and mobility industry does not stop there. We remain dedicated to enhancing our technology to meet the evolving needs of organizations and their visitors.
