Creating a true ‘downtown’ has been the vision for the city of Vaughan since the rapid growth of the 1980s and 1990s changed the city from a quiet collection of neighbourhoods into a thriving urban centre. The city has since flourished, becoming a growing hub for arts, culture and community.

Our partnership with the city of Vaughan began in 2021, as Precise ParkLink successfully deployed an on-street parking pilot program within the city’s emerging downtown— the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre. To support the continued growth of the community spanning beyond parking, we are proud to support the Vaughan International Film Festival’s 10th Annual.

Held from June 20th to 23rd, the Vaughan International Film Festival offers a platform for independent creators to share their films and further excel within the industry through screenings, scholarship opportunities, engaging and informative panels, webinars and industry events.

Maria Lato, Precise ParkLink’s Marketing & Communications Manager stated,“Witnessing the city of Vaughan’s transformation into an urban centre over the past twenty years has been incredible. It is an honour to support the city’s venture and not-for-profit organizations like VFF striving to make the city an even better place to live, work and play. We are proud to support VFF’s 10th Annual and their vision to secure the future of the independent film industry in the city of Vaughan.”

Antonio Ienco, MPSE, Director of Sponsorship & Events for the Vaughan International Film Festival stated,“We are so grateful to have Precise ParkLink as our VIP Pre-Launch Sponsor for our tenth annual festival. With their generous support, VFF can continue to bring the GTA community together to celebrate the arts, promoting an appreciation for independent film to both local residents and international filmmakers across the globe.”

We look forward to continuing to support the city of Vaughan’s development, as well as the endeavours of the Vaughan International Film Festival for many years to come.
