Many vulnerable groups have been negatively affected during these unprecedented times. And students are no exception.

They’re facing the loss of part-time and summer job positions, difficulty paying for essentials, such as food, housing, technology and internet, and they’ve had to make a significant shift in adapting to online-only learning. Additionally, international students are feeling the pressure of being away from their loved ones.

Post-secondary institutions across Canada have created relief bursaries and funds to help relieve anxieties during this pandemic. Universities and colleges have allocated substantial resources to increase support for their students and help them meet their educational goals remotely. And the federal government has introduced various financial relief measures, including the Canada Emergency Response Benefit.
