+ What is the difference between Pay-and-Display and Pay-by-License Plate?

Pay-and-Display parking meters require drivers to visibly display a parking receipt on their dashboard as proof of payment.

On the other hand, Pay-by- License Plate parking meters require a driver to enter their licence plate number into the meter when paying for parking. Valid parking sessions are confirmed via a cloud-based enforcement system.

+ What are smart parking meters?

Smart parking meters are connected in real-time to a live central management system, offering advanced monitoring, control and business intelligence capabilities. They generate robust reports, data and analytics and can be enhanced with hardware and software components. A few smart features of Precise ParkLink’s parking meters are:

+ How does Parkedin scan-to-pay work with Parking meters?

Parkedin’s scan-to-pay option for parking meter systems works as follows:

  1. Scan a QR code on signage throughout the parking facility, or visit www.parkedin.com
  2. Enter the parking lot Zone ID displayed throughout the parking lot
  3. Follow the payment prompts
  4. A receipt is emailed to the customer

Customers are not required to download the Parkedin mobile app to pay for parking. However, if they choose to, they can pay for parking within the app.

Credit card transactions are securely processed with level-1 (highest level) Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance. Cash collection and replenishment follow certified cash handling procedures.

We offer the following purchase options:

Yes, our in-house sign shop can provide instructional decals and signage to complement your parking meters.

+ Can I maintain my own parking meters?

Precise ParkLink is flexible. We are happy to train your team on level-1 maintenance and technical services such as changing paper rolls. We will also provide you with an operations manual for your devices. Regardless, we believe a proper technology support program is an essential part of your investment.

All of Precise ParkLink’s devices are connected in real-time to our live central monitoring facility, 24 hours a day, seven days a week:
