777 Hornby is one of QuadReal Property Group’s signature mixed-use developments located in downtown Vancouver. Standing 20 storeys and located in proximity to many of the city’s top restaurants and greatest attractions, Triple-7 sees impressive demand for its 457 stalls offered by its 8-level parkade.

The Challenges

Hotel guests and often-disorganized car rental agencies were complicating operations in the garage. QuadReal’s challenge to us was to create a more orderly and profitable parking operation while retaining a frictionless user experience.

The Solutions

Precise ParkLink had exactly the solution QuadReal needed: automatic license plate recognition to create an automated parking operation without the need for gates.

ALPR cameras located at entries and exits notify enforcement personnel of unpaid parking sessions and integrate with in-lane wayfinding screens to give customers clear navigational directions — all based on users’ license plate.
